Kyoto is not the only place where you can walk in kimono. Nikko, a world heritage site 2 hours away from Tokyo by train, is also recommended.

Cultural Heritage
Nikko Toshogu Shrine
Nikko Toshogu Shrine, the most famous of the shrines and temples in Nikko, is a shrine dedicated to Tokugawa Ieyasu, the first shogun of the Edo Shogunate. Most of the buildings were remodeled in the 17th century, and there are 55 buildings, including 8 National Treasures and 34 Important Cultural Properties, and various lacquer paintings and sculptures are beautifully displayed.
The most widely known sculpture in the palace is the Sleeping Cat, a prayer for world peace, located in the east corridor of the entrance to the Oku Shrine. It is believed that the cat is protecting the nearby tomb of Tokugawa Ieyasu. The statue of the three apes with their eyes, mouths and ears covered by their hands on the shrine's stable is world-famous. Including the three monkeys, there are actually 16 monkeys carved on the shrine, and it is said that the life of a human being is carved into a story. -Another highlight of the shrine is the main gate of the shrine, the Yangmyo Gate, which is regarded as the most magnificent gate of the Toshogu Shrine, with its beautiful gold and white coloring and as many as 500 exquisite carvings.

Do you want to take a nice photo in a kimono?
I'm sure we all know that the more crowded a tourist spot is, the harder it is to feel comfortable taking photos. Another advantage of daylight is that it is a very wide area with many world heritage sites, so you won't be able to take pictures of the crowds of tourists!
Rent a kimono and walk in the daylight that seems to stand still in the gap of time.
And you've become a beauty in the dust.
