Nagoya Night Scene x Cherry Blossom Light Art! MIRAI TOWER Spring Limited Edition "NAKED SAKURA TOWER 2026" Fantasy Night Cherry Blossom Experience Debuts!

名古屋夜景×櫻花光影藝術!MIRAI TOWER春季限定「NAKED SAKURA TOWER 2026」夢幻夜櫻體驗登場

In the spring of 2026, Nagoya's landmark "Chubu Electricity Mirai Tower" will once again host a limited-time event called "NAKED SAKURA TOWER 2026", which combines the night view of Nagoya with digital art projections on the 90-meter-high indoor observatory "スカイデッキ". From March 1 to April 30, the 90-meter-high indoor observatory "Skaidiki" will combine the night view of Nagoya with digital art projections to create a dreamy nighttime cherry blossom viewing experience that is only possible in spring.

The event is organized by NAKED, INC., a renowned Japanese creative team. In the past, they have created innovative nighttime art performances at the Tokyo Tower, Abeno Harukas, and the Sapporo TV Tower, combining architecture with light and shadow to create an immersive experience. Now, this digital art trend is blooming in Nagoya.

Nagoya's night view is colored with cherry blossoms.

"NAKED SAKURA TOWER 2026" is the spring version of the popular "NAKED FLOWER TOWER". During the event, a cherry blossom-themed projection show will be shown on the windows of the observation deck. Cherry blossom petals will fall from the night sky like a waterfall of light, intertwined with the glittering lights of Nagoya, creating a romantic atmosphere like being in a sea of light and shadowed cherry blossoms.

In addition to cherry blossoms, spring flowers such as roses, carnations and tulips will also be featured through digital performances and space installations. The entire viewing space is filled with aromatic designs in floral tones, and with floral tablescapes adorned with artificial flowers, visitors can immerse themselves in a springtime mood with all five senses.

Fusion of Historical Landmarks and Digital Art

Opened in 1954, Mirai Tower was the first radio tower building in Japan to be designated as a National Important Cultural Property. As a representative landmark of Nagoya, the tower is not only a popular tourist attraction, but also a familiar symbol for local residents. During the event, the tower's exterior will be illuminated in cherry blossom color from time to time (after sunset until 22:00 in March and April).

Standing at an altitude of 90 meters, overlooking the night scenery of the Wing Town area through a large glass window, with cherry blossoms blooming on the surface of the window, such a night cherry blossom view can only be experienced in this season and at this location.
