History and Culture of Okinawa
Okinawa has its own unique cultural background because of the deep connection between Okinawa and China in ancient times, and that is how Okinawan cuisine and Ryukyu court cuisine got their names. Moreover, Okinawa is the only subtropical region in Japan, and there are many fruits such as pineapple, which is why it is also called the Kingdom of Tropical Fruits. Almost all of the pineapples produced in Japan come from Okinawa, and you can enjoy various kinds of food here.

Okinawa is one of the few tropical vacation areas in Japan. It is also a rare coral island in the world with crystal clear water.

This three-day, two-night trip will allow you to enjoy the best of Okinawa's nature and food. We will share all the best places to visit in Okinawa!
Climate and Best Season in Okinawa
Even in winter, Okinawa does not fall below 10 degrees Celsius, and the maximum temperature in summer is about 32 degrees Celsius. It is not too cold in winter and not too hot in summer, so you can feel comfortable all year round.
However, it is not recommended to wear thin clothes when traveling.
You still need to keep warm in the winter and protect yourself from the sun in the summer.
Summer is the best season in Okinawa.
On average, the waterfront baths open in April (there are areas that open earlier), and in some places you can even swim in the water in October.

Cherry blossoms begin to bloom in January, and fruit picking begins in February, so no matter what season it is, Okinawa is full of charm.
