世界遺産・長崎4天3夜推薦行程~充滿了異國情調!
Nagasaki is a city located in the western part of Kyushu, Japan, surrounded by 4,195km of coastline, the second longest in Japan. In 2018, Nagasaki became the center of attention of the world when the Heritage Candidate submitted by Japan, “Heritage of the Latent Chechidan (Catholic) Connection between Nagasaki and the Amakusa District”, was successfully examined and Nagasaki was successfully inscribed on the World Heritage List. It goes without saying that Nagasaki has a lot to offer in terms of sightseeing and tourism, as well as fresh food and gourmet food. As the only port city open to the outside world, Nagasaki Prefecture maintained close trade and people-to-people contact with overseas countries even during the time of the closed-door period. Nagasaki is full of exotic flavors and has many fascinating sights. Nagasaki's cultural exchanges are intertwined with the Japanese word “Wo”, the Chinese word “Hwa”, and the European word “Orchid”. Nagasaki culture is also known as "Wo-hwa-ran" culture.

"Coral Park

~World Heritage

Colaba Garden was built in 1863 as a residence by Thomas Blake Colaba, who came to Japan when Nagasaki opened its harbor. The old Colaba Garden, together with nine other Western-style buildings, is now open to the public. Inside the garden, different flowers bloom in each season. It is a great place to take photos.

Colaba Park

Coppola Park is famous for being the setting for Puccini's opera Madama Butterfly. The park was built in 1864, when the area around Copala Park was a residential area for foreigners during the era of foreign ships. Today, there are still many old houses in the park, such as the Colaba House, the Ringo House, and the Olt House, which are all listed as “National Important Cultural Heritage”. The Koraba Residence in the park is the oldest surviving timber house in Japan. It was purchased by the Mitsubishi Shipping Corporation in 1939 and donated to the city in 1957. In 1961, it was listed as a "National Important Cultural Asset", and there is a statue of Miura Hiromi, who played the role of Madame Butterfly, in the park. At the former Nagasaki Second Wharf Club site, there is a large house with a detailed description of the rise and fall of the Nagasaki Maritime Transportation. In addition, the Nagasaki Traditional Culture Crafts Museum displays ritual objects from Nagasaki's most important temples, and is well worth a visit.

The "Legacy of Meiji Japan's Industrial Revolution: Iron, Steel, Shipbuilding and Charcoal Industries", which was inscribed on the World Heritage List in July 2015, is a constituent asset of the island. Toshima

A small island off the southwest coast of Japan that existed as a gathering place for Mitsubishi's mining companies, it is now abandoned and is also known as “Ship Island”. In the movie "James Bond: Skyfall", Silva's lair is located here. It is a mecca for many urbex (urban explorers). Tuan Island is a modernized heritage. Since all the residents left the island in 1974, there is no one to manage any of the facilities on the island, and the buildings on the island are in danger of collapsing. As a result, the island was once off-limits (it is now partially open for tourism).
You can go ashore by taking the "Ship Island Landing Cruise".

Unzen is Japan's original national park (Unzen Amakusa National Park). Before that, “onsen” was pronounced “unzen” and was a “natural hot spring resort”. The topography is 700 meters above sea level, and it is cool in summer, and was known as a vacation spot for celebrities during the Meiji and Taisho periods.

"Unzen Hell

Unzen Hot Springs is a volcanic area surrounding the hot springs area and is a tourist attraction that is easily associated with hell.

Unzen Hot Spring is a representative of a hellish hot spring. The smell of sulfur comes to your nose, and the water vapor and heat evaporating from the surface of the ground come to you in a rush, making the scene itself hellish. Unzen Jigoku was the first national park to be recognized in the 9th year of the Showa era.

Yunxian Hell

Unzen Jigoku is not a real hell, but a famous hot spring area in Japan. There are about 30 sightseeing spots here, where water jets, white smoke swirls, and smoky mist swirls around, and sulfurous rocks can be seen everywhere. The most famous part of Unzen Jigoku is called Jigoku, where hot springs of 100 degrees Celsius or more continue to flow. Visitors can't help but shout, "It's great!" when they see such a spectacular view. This is the origin of the name "Yelling Jigoku". It is also the place where Christians who came here as missionaries during the Shogunate era were martyred, and a poignant historical legend has been passed down.

Unzen Hot Spring

Unzen Onsen is also an international tourist resort, and was a summer vacation spot for foreigners during the Meiji era.

It is known as Japan's first stone two-hole arch bridge. It was listed as a national important cultural property in 1860.
The name of the bridge comes from the fact that its reflection on the water is like a mirror. It is one of the three most famous bridges in Japan, along with Nihonbashi Bridge and Kintaikyo Bridge. Among the old stone bridges of the Nakajima River, the Nakajima River Bridge is the most distinctive, and the heart-shaped stone is a popular spot for praying for love.
