Do you want to welcome the Christmas season in the most fantastic way this winter? The entertainment planetarium brand "Konica Minolta Planetarium (コニカミノルタプラネタリウム)" will be launching the "Illuminated Welcome Dome (イルミネーションウェルカムドーム)" program from November 14th (Fri.) to December 25th (Thu.), 2025, at five venues in all of Japan simultaneously. For 5 to 10 minutes after admission and before the screening, the entire dome will be transformed into a photogenic lighting space: floating sky lanterns, flickering candles, and a river of stars will surround you, making the wait part of the trip.

What is the "Illuminated Welcome Dome (イルミネーションウェルカムドーム)"?
The "Illuminated Welcome Dome" refers to the behind-the-scenes images that will be taken after the audience has entered the venue and before the main program begins. This Christmas edition will start with a 5-10 minute photo friendly mode, allowing you to take a wave of beautiful photos under the starry sky and the sea of lights before entering the movie. Reminder: Only holders of tickets for the current production are allowed to enter the theater, and cannot view the video alone.

Tickets and Movie Tips
How do I participate?
By purchasing a ticket for any of the productions, you will be able to enjoy the "Illuminated Welcome Dome" from the time you are seated at the opening until the curtain time before the main festival. Early admission is recommended if you want to get an aerial view or a good angle.
Seating & Experience
Premium Seat: The Premium Seat is extremely comfortable and can be reclined, while the regular seat can also be reclined, but please cooperate with the staff to guide you.
・Shooting is allowed during the curtain, but after the main program starts, it will be done according to the site regulations.
Parents and children are recommended to choose the seats around the center of the room for easy entry and exit.
