In addition, it is only about 30 minutes to Kyoto and about 1 hour and 30 minutes to Tokyo by Shinkansen from Nagoya Station.<\/span><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">You can also take a train directly to the World Heritage Sites of Shirakawago (Gifu Prefecture) and Ise (Mie Prefecture, with sights such as the Ise Jingu Shrine and Mikimoto Pearl Island).<\/span><\/span><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">Nagoya Castle is a famous attraction in Nagoya.<\/span><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">There is also a \u201cNagoya noodle dishes, udon stewed in miso is made by stewing sinewy udon noodles in a broth made from Hatcho miso.<\/span><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">It is served with a gurgling stew pot, which makes a great flavor and visual impact!<\/span><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">The pot stays kind of hot the whole time you're enjoying this delicacy, so it's especially good for cold winter class=\"f-block\">\n<div class=\"p-section\"><b>Yamamamotoya<\/b><br \/>\n<span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">Based on my experience, I think the stewed udon noodles at Yamamotoya Honten are the best.<\/span><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">Its miso flavor blends perfectly with the richness of the broth, and you'll fall in love with the taste after just one bite.<\/span><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">In Nagoya, it is customary to take the udon out of the pot and place it on the lid of the casserole as needed, and then let it cool as you taste it.<br \/>\n<\/span><\/span><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div id=\"_j_paragraph_7\" class=\"f-block\">\n<h4><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">Miso Bonito juice, sugar and other ingredients, which is then poured over the freshly fried pork cutlet.<\/span><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">In Japan, tonkatsu is usually topped with sauce or soy sauce, and many people like this miso tonkatsu and come to try it often.<\/span><\/span><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><br \/>\nYou can get these miso tonkatsu at tonkatsu restaurants around Nagoya.<\/span><\/span><\/div>\n<div class=\"p-section\"><b>Yaba Don<\/b><br \/>\n<span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">My top recommendation is a miso fried pork cutlet specialty store called Yaba Don, which has been around for more than 60 years.<\/span><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">The preparation involves tender pork coated in crispy breadcrumbs and deep-fried at high temperatures before the waiter drizzles miso salsa over the steak in front of you.<\/span><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">The flavor of the miso sauce will stimulate your appetite and make it easy for you to eat a large pork chop.<\/span><\/span><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><br \/>\nThe dish I recommend to you is the very tempting looking extra-large portion of \"Straw Shoe Pork Chop\".<br \/>\n<\/span><\/span><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/joyjapan.tokyo\/wp-content\/uploads\/mfw\/12d776eb37b33fb05a46f3d1b72aa146.jpeg\" \/><\/p>\n<div id=\"_j_paragraph_8\" class=\"f-block\">\n<h4><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">Tote and Miso Kanto Boils<\/span><\/span><\/h4>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"f-block\">\n<div class=\"p-section\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">In Nagoya, miso stewed Kanto is also a classic dish.<\/span><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">The actual flavor of this dish is more refreshing and mellow than it looks, as the egg and radish are simmered for a long time in a red miso-based broth.<\/span><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">The \"Tokemono\", a stew of beef tendons and pork mash, is also very popular, with its rich, sweet and salty taste that you can't get enough of.<\/span><span ways<\/span><\/span><\/h4>\n<\/div>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/joyjapan.tokyo\/wp-content\/uploads\/mfw\/23cc9a604021b7c1bc060278bd4eaf71.jpeg\" \/><\/p>\n<div class=\"f-block\">\n<div class=\"p-section\">This dish consists of grilled eel covered with sauce and served over rice, so some people may mistakenly think that it is unagi on rice. In reality, eel rice three ways and eel rice are two completely different cuisines. Eel rice three ways allows you to taste three flavors at once. Unsteamed eel is grilled (kamaboko), and then the grilled eel is cut into small pieces and placed on top of rice and served in bowls.<br \/>\nIn addition to eel and rice, the three eel rice dishes are served with condiments such as scallions and seaweed, as well as soup. Generally, you have to divide the eel rice into four equal portions with a spoon. The first portion is to taste the original flavor of the eel rice, the second portion is to be eaten with condiments, and the third portion is to be eaten as tea-soaked rice. Deep fried until crispy and served with the restaurant's homemade sauce and spices, these wings have become a perfect accompaniment to a drink.<\/p>\n<p>Any izakaya in Nagoya will have fried chicken wings as a main dish on their menu, and the two most famous ones are the following. You can discuss which one you like better. Both restaurants offer take-out service, so you can bring your dish to the hotel and compare them as you enjoy it.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Windy Place<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>This pub is known as the originator of Nagoya's fried chicken wings. The chicken wings are thick and tender, with a sweet chili sauce and fragrant sesame seeds sprinkled on top.
