Event highlights at a glance: Claw machines, giveaways, food, pop-up shops
During the campaign period, limited edition prizes will be gradually released at all GiGO Group stores in Japan, scheduled to launch on July 31, 2026. Quantities are limited and will be available on a first-come, first-served basis. Some items will also be available on GiGO ONLINE CRANE, making it suitable for those who cannot visit many physical stores.
The rules for the deposit amount prize event are as follows: for the claw machine, a deposit of 500 yen will randomly award one clear card. For the online version, a purchase of 500 SP will randomly award one clear card. The designs cannot be chosen, and quantities are limited. Those who wish to collect the full set should be prepared for randomness and early distribution endings.
Jujutsu items and bonus drinks
The collaboration Taiyaki, "Jujutsu Yakii," will be sold from July 31, 2026, to September 6, 2026, for 650 yen. The flavor is premium custard. Purchasing one will get you a random original coaster (8 types in total). The stores selling it are GiGO COCONO SUSUKINO, GiGO's Taiyaki Akihabara Building 5, GiGO's Taiyaki Market Square Sasashima, and GiGO's Taiyaki Dotonbori Main Store in Osaka, for a total of 4 locations.
Drink specials will also be sold during the same period for 500 yen. With each purchase of one drink, you will randomly receive one of eight original coasters, featuring designs identical to those from the Jujutsu Kaisen collaboration. Participating stores will be announced on the special website. If you want to get a coaster, drinks are usually easier to fit into your schedule than food, but popular items may still sell out early.
Pop-up shop and limited edition merchandise
The Jujutsu Kaisen anime's 5th anniversary GiGO POP UP SHOP will also be held from July 31 to September 6, 2026. The participating stores are GiGO Dream Town Shirakaba, GiGO Akihabara Building 5, GiGO Main Store, and GiGO Market Square Sasashima, for a total of 4 locations. The latest sales information will be announced on each store's official X account.
If your goal is to buy merchandise, Akihabara Building 5 would be the easiest stop for Tokyo travelers to plan; if you also want to eat Jujutsu Stir Fry, Akihabara has a corresponding shop. Osaka travelers can consider the Dotonbori Main Store, and Nagoya travelers can look out for Market Square Sasashima. Because limited edition items, free gifts, and food can sell out, it is recommended to prioritize visiting earlier in the event period.
RT giveaway also being held simultaneously
Before the event starts, there will also be an X retweet lottery. From July 17 to August 16, 2026, follow the official GENDA GiGO X account and retweet the designated post for a chance to win a complete set of all 4 types of plush charms. There will be 3 winners. This part is more suitable for fans who already have an X account and are willing to participate in Japanese event lotteries.
Please note that the lottery terms, eligibility, and delivery conditions are subject to official regulations. It is more practical for travelers who are only visiting Japan for a short period to focus on in-store events, food, and merchandise.

How should a fan traveler plan their trip for the smoothest experience?
Tokyo itinerary suggestions with Akihabara as the main focus, as GiGO Akihabara Building 5 is related to POP UP SHOP and food stalls, and there are many anime stores around, so you can allocate half a day. In Osaka, Dotonbori Main Store can be included in the Namba and Shinsaibashi itinerary; in Sapporo, you can visit COCONO SUSUKINO; in Nagoya, it can be combined with the Sasashima area.
This event spans claw machines, food and beverages, and pop-up shops. It's best to decide on your objective beforehand: "getting coasters," "buying merchandise," or "playing limited edition prizes." On-site random giveaways are first-come, first-served and limited in quantity, so the later you go, the more likely items will be sold out. Leave some flexibility in your schedule so you can switch to another option if there's a line at a shop or an item is sold out.
