The Hokkaido-exclusive guest menu for the 10th anniversary is now on sale! Try the Haskap Cream Soda, Corn Milkshake, and Autumn Salmon Burger all at once

When traveling to Hokkaido in autumn, aside from ramen, tom yum curry, and seafood donburi, it is also a good time to spend a leisurely time in a coffee shop. Komeda Coffee Hokkaido celebrates its 10th anniversary since its entry into Hokkaido, and from October 8, 2026, it will be offering a limited menu at 24 stores in Hokkaido: Hashakappu Cream Soda, Corn Milkshake, and Autumn Salmon Burger. All three products use Hokkaido ingredients, and participating stores can be found from Sapporo, Otaru, to Hakodate and Asahikawa. For travelers on the move, this is an easy way to enjoy local flavors.

Introducing Hokkaido ingredients into Kume-do's limited menu

This is the first time that Komei Dou has launched a Hokkaido-themed special offer. The Hokkaido Hazakura Cream Soda uses Hazakura from Hokkaido, with a sweet and tangy berry flavor and a striking red-purple color; the Corn Milkshake features the sweet flavor of Hokkaido corn, with a softer texture. If you’ve been busy sightseeing all day and just want to find a place to sit down and chat, these two drinks are perfect for afternoon dessert.

For a more substantial meal, you can choose the salmon burger. The bread is sandwiched between three pieces of Hokkaido salmon roe fritter, which is paired with tartar sauce, kale, and onion. The portion is quite filling. This can be taken away, and if you happen to be taking the JR train or preparing to head back to your hotel for a rest, it’s more flexible than rushing to find dinner. When ordering, please be aware that the fish meat may contain fish bones.

Limited edition prices and suitable travel times

Haskap cream soda costs between 740 and 840 yen, corn milk shake between 710 and 810 yen, autumn salmon burger between 960 and 1,000 yen; actual prices vary depending on the store. There is also a 10th anniversary limited plush pendant featuring a Hokkaido snow rabbit design, priced at 3,000 yen; travelers looking to buy souvenirs for their trip can also take note of this item.

Sales are expected to continue until late November, but limited-edition items will sell out. The closing time may also vary depending on the store. If your trip falls between early October and early November, it is recommended to arrange it a few days before your arrival in Hokkaido; especially on weekends afternoons are more likely to be fully booked, making it more comfortable to take your time taking photos and enjoying desserts after lunch on weekdays.

24 stores, the easiest way to plan your trip in Sapporo

You can choose from the stores at 2-chome, Danna-gai, Danna-gai 2-chome, Danna-gai 6-chome or Hanafune in the center of Sapporo. It is a great place to visit after exploring Danna-gai, Danna Park or the area around Sapporo Station. If you are going on a day trip to Otaru, the shop at the Otaru Canal Street is also a good option for a rest stop; places like Hakodate, Asahikawa, Hachinohe, Kitami and Kushiro also have participating stores. Before departure, please check the opening hours and store locations on the day of your visit to avoid getting lost by searching on a map.

A small reminder for Taiwanese travelers

Komeido’s dishes are usually larger than you might expect; if you want to continue with the soup curry or Gekishen grilled meat, you can split a burger between the two of you and order drinks separately. The fun of this limited menu isn’t in queuing for the latest new items; it’s in bringing Hokkaido ingredients into the familiar rhythm of a traditional Japanese teahouse; when your itinerary is packed, sitting down for a cup of sweet and sour hakasap cream soda becomes a very relaxing part of the journey.
